You may have heard that Donald Trump and Republicans slashed Medicaid and are going to go extinct in 2026 as a result. If YOU heard that, you know it's bullplop because Medicaid wasn't slashed. Able-bodied adults with no kids will now have to work a total of 20 hours a week and fill out a form twice a year to stay on it. But Democrats don't want you to know that and will lie, knowing they can count on CNN to swear by it.
That is something CNN's Dana Bash attempted to do this weekend to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Bessent noticed the real problem is a pattern with Democrats. Much like when it comes to getting an ID in order to vote, Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) think poor people are stupid.
🚨NEW: Scott Bessent TORCHES Dems who oppose Medicaid work requirements in BBB🚨Â
"The Republicans are not the most vocal on this. It is a group of Democrats who, unfortunately, seem to think that poor people are stupid."

Here's the thing with the Democrat/media argument. I've been on unemployment twice before. To maintain my unemployment benefits, I had to meet certain requirements. I needed to be looking for work. I also needed to check in once a week to let them know I was actively looking for work. "Checking" in meant logging into a website and checking boxes, or calling an automated hotline and pressing either "1" or "2." At no point did I find this to be a burden or a hassle. It was just something I had to do.
Able-bodied childless adults need to work -- or VOLUNTEER -- 20 hours a week and fill out a form twice a year. Which, if it's anything like the DMV sending out registration notices, they'll get reminders three months out.
Normie-Americans, when presented with both sides of the issue, are not going to have an issue with there being the slightest bit of requirements for a grown ass adult without kids to have to collect tax-payer funded entitlements. Democrats want people to think otherwise because their entire agenda will collapse if people learn the truth.
