President Donald Trump had an interview with 60 Minutes, and he has since dropped the whole segment without edits. Today’s show breaks this down.

When ABC interviewed failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris, they edited chunks of it out, which ended up making her appear slightly better than she was. They also edited Trump’s interview, but for the exact opposite reason, which was to make him look worse than he is.

"It's even worse than that, I think they edited out the most important context," Crowder said. “If you were to tune into legacy media, you would not only be missing half the story, you would be getting the opposite.”

According to Fox News:

"60 Minutes" posted the extended version of the president's interview to its YouTube channel. The remarks did not air live on the show Sunday night.

He went on, "But ‘60 Minutes’ was forced to pay me a lot of money because they took her answer out that was so bad." Trump was referring to a "60 Minutes" interview last year with former Vice President Kamala Harris, which was at the center of his lawsuit against the network.

The president filed a lawsuit against CBS News and its parent company, Paramount, in October 2024. He alleged election interference over their handling of the "60 Minutes" interview with Harris and what portions of it they aired.

The left wants to give trillions of dollars in benefits to illegal aliens. This is why the government has shut down. It’s not rocket science. However, 60 minutes specifically excluded that explanation from the interview. In the edited clip, they cut out the part where Trump made this claim.

“In this case, Donald Trump is listing the reason for the shutdown,” Crowder said. “You wonder why you have two different Americas? Well, maybe look at legacy media, and you will have an answer.”

In another edited clip, the network chose to edit out Trump’s claims about the “record reduction” in crime, specifically in Washington, D.C., and Memphis.

They also edited out where Trump gave specific examples of the political lawfare against him and his family, while trying to blame him for doing just that.

"This is the first time in your lifetime where they tried to render the candidate of the opposing party inedible through bull crap lawfare," Crowder said. “You don't despise the media enough. And now they want you to mistrust us. They want you to despise us.”
