Justin Trudeau attempts to "own" Trump with over-the-top pro-Canada ad, owns himself and his country instead
Gov. Justin Trudeau attempted to be relatable. That was his second mistake of the day. His first mistake was even considering trying to appeal to Canadians. Nonetheless, he did what he believed would make people proud to be Canadian, and saying that was a mistake would be an understatement.
Trudeau shared a patriotic Canadian video with the caption, “Good to have you back," and it’s worse than you think.

Awwwww. Did someone get their feelings hurt?
What’s comical about this is that Gov. Trudeau approved this message, which isn’t always the case in Canada. This country lacks free speech, and the wrong message could land you in jail. So, while this may be the correct message—at least according to the Canadian bureaucracy—it makes the situation even more pathetic.
Things have become so bad that even comedians like Joe Rogan have stated they will not set foot in Canada because of Justin Trudeau.

But sure, let Trudeau go off.
According to The Daily Guardian:
A revamped version of the iconic “Joe Canadian” beer commercial has resurfaced 25 years later, but this time, it’s not about selling beer—it’s about celebrating Canadian pride. The video, produced by an anonymous group of Canadian creatives, features actor Jeff Douglas reprising his role as the passionate everyman, delivering a heartfelt tribute to Canada’s identity.
With humor and patriotism, the video highlights Canada’s unique culture—from its love for peanut butter and ketchup chips to its reputation for kindness and innovation.
The fact that Canadians eat ketchup chips is a scandal in itself.
The video’s release comes at a crucial time as tensions between Canada and the United States continue to rise. Trump recently suggested that Canada could become the 51st US state, sparking outrage among Canadians. The remake of the ad serves as a bold response to this idea, emphasizing that “We are not 51st anything.”

If Trudeau hopes this will help him run for prime minister again it's doubtful that will do him any favors.

LOL. It would not be surprising if it were true that this is nothing more than PR damage control to stay in power.
So, while Gov. Trudeau may hope to boast about trivial matters, like ketchup chips, to help him ascend the political ladder, it's doubtful, to say the least.
There is a zero percent chance that Canada will win the trade war, and the sooner Prime Minister Trudeau realizes that, the better off Canadians will be.
