Placing stickers on stop signs is considered a crime and an act of vandalism in the State of Minnesota. However, when you don't support national security and condone the actions of illegal aliens, you likely don't care about this little thing called “laws.” This may or may not be why Smart Set Inc., a “digital print and design shop in Minneapolis' Seward neighborhood,” has announced to the world that it engages in brazen acts of vandalism.

Smart Set posted on their social media a video of them placing the words “ICE” under “STOP” on stop signs. They did this because they believe it made them compassionate or whatever. In reality, it did nothing for their cause.

According to their social media post:

Smart Set has turned our front space into a free ICE Resistance Resources center for anyone who needs it. We are continually restocking posters, stickers, handwarmers, goggles, observer vests, and whistles so our neighbors have practical tools in one place. This is about showing up for each other in a concrete way, not just in words. If this would be useful to you or your community, please stop by Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

In other words, the company has appointed itself as the de facto resistance resource center for the community. The fact that they believe this puts them on the right side of history is deeply pathetic.

They also claim to be handing out goggles. Why would someone need to protect their eyes if they were engaging in a peaceful protest? Could it be because this company is assisting the actions of mostly peaceful protesters? Common sense would tell you yes.

The reason these people have zero fear of being issued a ticket for these actions is not that they are acting lawfully; it’s because local and state officials likely condone it. Now, had they defaced public property with an anti-leftist message, it would likely be a different story — but because their actions are politically correct — rather than morally correct — they get a pass.

While we could call it cute that these people truly think they are making a difference, they are wasting their time. ICE will not be stopped solely because they printed a sticker with a leftist slogan on it. And to call their actions naive would be an understatement.
