Megan Rapinoe is desperately trying to make herself relevant again by trashing the U.S. men’s hockey team for their reaction to President Donald Trump’s phone call following their win. She claimed that they “ruined it for themselves because they allowed themselves to be totally co-opted by a clown. And now you're a clown."

The problem with this statement is that the boys don't seem to feel as if anything was ruined. In fact, they appear to be ecstatic and in great spirits. The only upset seems to be with Rapinoe, which proves just how much she wishes to project her insecurities onto the men’s hockey team.

“The United States’ men’s hockey team in their utter moment of glory, childhood dreams come true, one in a lifetime accomplishment, sensational – ruined it for themselves because they allowed themselves to be totally co-opted by a clown. And now, you’re a clown. You look like a clown,” she began.

She continued, “Why don’t you respect you more than to have that moment be taken by someone, who for no reason at all, just takes a huge swing and a jab at women who did that exact same thing that you did.”

“Kash Patel is in the locker room, he’s partying, he’s chugging beers – I’m not like decorum over everything, that’s not what I need out of my FBI director, like what are we doing? That’s just, whatever besides the point.”

Two phone calls occurred between the president and the hockey team that night.

This was the first one, which occurred before their win.

This was the second win, which occurred post facto and involved Trump inviting them to the State of the Union.

She claims the women's hockey team should have also been invited. In reality, she is just looking for a way to stay mad, as she pathetically believes people want to hear her opinion on such a nonissue that only she is complaining about.

How was any of that a clown show? How can someone be so upset over that? Not only is she the only one trashing the boy's win, but it only proves just how miserable a person she truly is.
