Top 5 Idiotic Moments From the Left's March for 'Science'
In case you aren't in the know, the left held another March for Science today. That is, if you'd call what they're pushing at the event "science." Here's a few highlights from the march. You be the judge.
There was, of course, enough climate change alarmism to make Al Gore need a change of shorts:
Pretty standard stuff there, really. Here's where things get interesting.
"Since being against 'rape culture' is a leftist position and leftists love science, a rape culture pun must be relevant, right?" Except the only relevant cells in this situation are the brain cells I just lost reading that dumbass sign.
Cue abortion advocacy:
Ah yes, abortion advocacy. "It's okay to debrain your unborn infant. After all, what's a baby besides a bundle of cells?" The same argument could be made about any living organism. Though, I highly doubt "it was only a bundle of cells" would ever hold up in court if you were on trial for a homicide rap. Though, crazier defenses have been successful.
Which brings us to this. Now's when things start to come from waaay out of left field. From over the wall, to be more specific:
Science is all about objectivity, right? Well, illegals are objectively breaking the law by coming here and they have zero rights to reside in the U-S-of-A. The only arguments the left has to the contrary are emotional appeals about "hard-working jumpers of fences who want to make a new life for their family." At the same time, those lefties ignore the objective tales of rapery and death-dealing staring them right in the face.
Finally, any gathering of leftists is incomplete without some rampant anti-Trumpery:
This one says it all. The reality is this march is little more than an anti-conservative meet-up masquerading as a pro-science rally.
If I remember biology class correctly, the most basic principle in the sciences is putting aside personal beliefs and opinions and facing the facts. Yet, this event is riddled with blatant biases against all things non-leftist. Which, by definition, ain't science.
