Bernie Sanders tax plan sunk him during the election and continues to submerge him up to his cotton cloud hair. Using his normal faked compassion, he complains about the poor (literal and rhetorical) middle class being taxed too much under the new tax reform. But he still can't explain how he's going to pay for all that free college, healthcare, and condoms. Or in his case, Viagra. Allegedly.

Bernie claims to care for the middle class while sneaking in bank accounts, discovered only by the creaks of his hip replacements. Here, context:

Oh, so according to Bernie, the tax cuts aren't permanent enough. Sounds like a bluff, no?

Ted Cruz called him on it, and offered a firey friendly alternative.

What a kind offer. An offer Bernie Sanders will likely ignore.

See, socialists love taxes. It's how they fund all their socialist pet projects. Like free college, free healthcare, and free (name that thing you feel entitled to but would rather not pay for yourself). Except "free" really means "Paid for by taxpaying schmucks." Which is all well and good if you're not a tax-paying schmuck.

Ted Cruz is simply illustrating the point. Bernie is as sincere about permanent tax cuts as he is about personal responsibility.
