Ted Cruz Has One Simple Way to Help During Coronavirus Social Distancing
Americans are being told to practice social distancing to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, aka COVID-19, aka Wuhan got you all in check, aka everyone was kung flu fighting (see AOC Says You're Racist for Not Going to a Chinese Restaurant [VIDEO] and Media Says Calling COVID-19 "Wuhan" is Racist, So Here's a Montage of Media Calling COVID-19 the "Wuhan"). For some of us, social distancing is just what we call Monday. We were born this way and have been preparing to shine in this moment all our lives. But for people who own small businesses that patrons are suddenly keeping their social distance from, the sudden loss of revenue hurts. It hurts them and it hurts their employees. Sen. Ted Cruz tweeted out this one simple way we can all help.
If you can buy a gift certicate from a local small business—a restaurant or a toy store or a hair salon—now is a go… https://t.co/rkxx3X6ouM— Ted Cruz (@Ted Cruz) 1584301241.0
Whether or not you think this is all a fake controversy devised by the deep state to hurt Trump or are in a legit panic thinking we all gon' die, this is our reality for the foreseeable future, or at least the next eight weeks, according to the CDC. Yes, you could ransack your local grocery store, hoarding toilet paper (which I still don't get) and food items you normally wouldn't ever eat. You could sit in your garage with 40,000 bottles of Purell hand sanitizer and wonder why no one wants to talk to you. Or, help your community by buying a gift card from a local business that you can use when it's safe to leave the house.
You do you. I have enough toilet paper and am going to spend my money elsewhere.
