The Liberals are getting salty!

To protest the Trump Administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, leftist protestors have decided that Target is the problem. So, they have decided to clog up the checkout lines by purchasing a single container of salt. It’s unclear how this prevents an individual from being deported, but clearly, these people believe they are making a difference, which makes it all the more pathetic.

The reason they probably chose to purchase salt is that it melts ICE. This is very childish and does nothing for their cause.

A similar video went viral last month, where liberals in Minnesota purchased the flavor enhancer, only to return it. This is because they believe harassing hardworking employees puts them on the right side of history.

Another protest also went viral last month after Karens filled their carts without purchasing any of the items. This is because, in their eyes, no human is illegal. It’s unclear why they believe that bothering a private business has anything to do with the enforcement of federal immigration laws, but you do the math.

According to CBS:

Demonstrators with the group ICE Out Now Minnesota Coalition spread across the Twin Cities on Wednesday evening, gathering

outside Target stores. Crowds chanted, sang and held signs demanding the retail giant take a stronger stand against U.S. Immigration
and Customs Enforcement activity in and around their stores.

The group stated several demands for Target:

Call for ICE to leave Minnesota.
Exercise the company's Fourth Amendment rights and post signage denying ICE access unless officers have signed judicial warrants.
Train staff on how to deal with ICE encounters.
Publicly call for President Trump to "shut down" ICE.
Lobby Congress to deny more ICE funding and investigate constitutional violation claims.
Call for federal agents who harm or kill civilians to "be held legally accountable."

Even if ICE were doing something immoral, which it’s not, why should Target employees be trained to “deal with ICE encounters”? That would be above their pay grade.

While these protestors may think they are expressing their First Amendment right to air their grievances to the government, they are, in fact, harassing a private business, its employees, and its customers. Are protestors really so stupid that they believe this is an effective way to deliver their message? It certainly would appear so.
