In his bestselling book, Jake Tapper pretends that he and the media were innocent in covering up former Vice President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. Today’s show breaks down why this is “criminally stupid.”

“There were doctors saying, ‘We’re seeing this.’ There were insiders and whistleblowers saying, ‘We know this to be true,’” Crowder said. “There were many people pointing out that he suddenly developed a stutter in his 70s, which [Tapper] defended.”

While Tapper would like you to believe these “realizations” are “new,” that could not be further from the truth, as the majority of people reading this not only knew, but knew he knew.

"They focus on the punchline and act as though the corroborating information was never presented," Crowder said. "But it was — and it was denied."

A recent declaration made by CNN anchor Jake Tapper about the cover-up of President Joe Biden's cognitive decline appears to go against his network's coverage during the 2024 presidential race.

"The Biden White House falsely- when people showed that clip and asked what was going on- said it was a ‘cheap fake.’ They did this all the time when there was video that seemed to show Biden acting in an odd or unusual, seemingly out-of-it way, they would call it a ‘cheap fake.’ It was not fake. It was actual video," Tapper said last week.

“They’re being presented as brand-new information — as revelations,” Crowder said.

In the weeks leading up to the disastrous debate performance exposing his cognitive decline on the world stage, Biden went viral on multiple occasions in videos his critics said showed him losing his faculties. The first was of him appearing completely frozen while others danced around him at Juneteenth celebration at the White House. The second was of him appearing to wander off at the G-7 Summit away from other world leaders while trying to engage with parachutes, only to be corralled by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The third was Biden's freezing moment at the L.A. fundraiser.

According to The Hill, “Members of former President Biden’s White House staff scripted Cabinet meetings and used multiple cameras to cover flubs he had, according to a new book obtained by The Hill.”

“He would call on a list of pre-selected reporters. He wasn’t even supposed to reveal the list publicly, but he was so incapable of using notecards and the prompter that he’d actually say the quiet part out loud — ‘Oh yeah, that’s right, I have a pre-selected script for this scripted and staged event,’” Crowder said.

“The Cabinet meetings were terrible and at times uncomfortable — and they were from the beginning,” one secretary told them. “I don’t recall a great Cabinet meeting in terms of his presence. They were so scripted.”

The authors report that the campaign held a staged town hall last April in a high school gym to film a commercial. It was made to appear that Biden was taking questions off the cuff, but the event was closed to reporters and the campaign was given questions in advance.

"That is stealing a vote from the American public because it deliberately assures they didn’t know what they were voting for," Crowder said.

Whether Jake Tapper is a lying narcissist or an objective buffoon is up for you to decide.
