The “right” to vote was never intended to be on the honor system. The left making this controversial is nothing more than a personal problem. In fact, this is the most popular bipartisan piece of legislation in years. So, when people like James Talarico claim that implementing voter ID would “rob our neighbors, strictly our black neighbors, of those God-given rights,” do not believe him. It is either the case that Talarico is lying and trying to scare people into voting against their best interests, or he truly is that stupid and racist. Both of which should be grounds to ban him from holding office.

Oh, he thinks he’s so deep, doesn't he? “We, as human beings, have the right to shape our own destiny.” LOL. What a cringe thing to say. Nonetheless, no one is stopping anyone from shaping anything. The only issue at hand is whether people ought to prove they are who they say they are. The fact that this is a requirement for nearly everything else in life proves how unserious and delusional people like Talarico are. If voter ID is racist, then ID is also racist in every aspect of life. Clearly, the logic is not very logical with these people.

Nonetheless, it is, again, a deranged and racist lie to imply Black people are not smart enough to obtain government identification. While there is no evidence to prove that, you can only accept such a lie if you believe Black people are largely incompetent. This could not be further from the truth, and the left believing that this puts them on the compassionate side is a level of cognitive dissonance only possible among the most radical progressives.

That being said, no one is buying this crap. The sooner people like Talarico realize that, the better off this country will be. Until then, do not accept anything but more of the same. And to call that a “threat to Democracy” would be an understatement.
