Over recent years, you've no doubt noticed an unnerving trend among leftists. They tend to be snot gobbling sewer beasts. Not only in terms of spirit but physical appearance. As it turns out it's not just your imagination, the facts agree with us on the matter. According to a recent study, numbers confirm that beauty is more often associated with conservatism. A happy coincidence...

A recently published study in the Journal of Public Economics concludes that the attractiveness of a candidate does correlate with their politics. Politicians on the right are more good looking in Europe, the United States, and Australia.

In their first experiment, the researchers showed respondents photographs of political candidates in Finnish municipal and parliamentary elections, members of the European Parliament, U.S. candidates for Senate and governor, and candidates for Australia's House of Representatives. They asked participants to rate the photographs on a five-point scale. The results suggested that politicians on the right are more beautiful on all three continents.

The researches also suggest that voters correctly see candidates who are more good looking as more likely to be conservative. When voters don't know much about candidates, they tend to use beauty as a cue for ideology.

Boom. In your bridge-troll face, leftists. Of course, this study will no doubt ignite the unsightly rage of angry, social justice warriors.

Ain't she a beauty?

Sniveling porklets aside, why is this tiny bit of information relevant? Hint: It's not because we hate those with plain faces (read OPINION: Sorry, Not Everyone is 'Beautiful.' And That's a Good Thing...). Quite the opposite. Ever notice how leftists use their looks - or lack thereof - to make a point? For instance, Amy Schumer shedding her exoskeleton and baring all in a slutty Vanity Fair centerfold is considered an achievement on behalf of women worldwide. Tis progress... Because feminism declared it so. But more accurately, because she's not a hot supermodel (see Dear Fat Feminists: Being Naked While Unattractive is not 'Brave'...).

Look, beauty doth not a good person make. Conservatives get this. SJWs do not. Hence their panicked rush to redefine beauty. The attractiveness of the walking meat bags we animate makes little difference when it comes to value. For instance, we don't loathe Lena Dunham because she looks like a bog creature who frequents my nightmares, but because she's a vile gasbag who hates men and babies. On the flip side, however? When a hot person with differing beliefs speaks out against the left, it doesn't take long for the liberal hate train to come rolling through. Meanwhile, herds of liberals also rush to bully/guilt "sexist" men and women for finding attractive people attractive. Mostly because that includes not-them. You know, what with the feminist pit hair and Bernie Sanders...
