Watch: Nick Sortor shares some shocking details about what's really going on at Homeland Security

Nick Sortor joined today’s show to discuss ICE, Minnesota, and the Left’s riot machine.
Sorter clarified a story about Border Patrol official Greg Bovino. He said Bovino wasn’t fired, but was removed from his role. According to Sorter, the decision came from within the agency, and President Trump wasn’t initially aware of it.
According to CNN, “Homan is expected to take over immigration enforcement operations in Minnesota as top Border Patrol official Gregory Bovino leaves the state.”
According to a recent X post from Sorter, “President Trump was NOT aware of the prior decision to remove Greg Bovino from his role as Commander Op at Large of the U.S. Border Patrol. Nor was Secretary Noem. Trump and Noem FULLY BACK Mr. Bovino. And someone ‘down the food chain’—as we’ll say—will have a rough week.”
“We want mass deportations. When someone says ‘worst of the worst,’ the problem is that you are not essentially granting amnesty to illegals that they call ‘noncriminals,’” Sorter said.
The discussion also focused on information from Border Patrol agents in Minnesota. Sorter claimed they were told not to arrest certain illegal aliens, even when their status was known, though he added that this could be limited to that state.
“One of them said it seems like we even reverted to the Biden days,” Sorter added.
Crowder asked whether this was happening elsewhere, and Nick said he had no indication it was nationwide.
They then talked about how some states handle cooperation with authorities. Sorter said that while some state and local officials often claim they hand over violent criminals, cooperation sometimes only happens after sentences, and local jails frequently don’t hold them.
“This is the best-case scenario I’m thinking of right now: that they’re being a little softer on the ground so Homan can negotiate some sort of deal. Not all hope is lost,” Sorter said.
