The reason you should not believe people like Bernie Sanders and AOC when it comes to climate disaster predictions is because they do not even feel believe their crap. Because if they did, they would do everything in their power to not fly around in private jets and create more carbon emissions than the average American in five years.

So, while Sanders has already admitted he has ZERO regrets for doing just that, he has proved to be more hypocritical than leftists could ever imagine.

According to Power The Future, Bernie Sanders burned "enough fuel to undo the carbon-capturing work of nearly 2,900 trees" during his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour.

In a Fox News exclusive report, Power The Future analyzed Sanders’ travel itinerary across 16 stops on his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, comparing commercial and private aviation options for each leg. Despite nearly every route being serviced by commercial airlines, many with multiple daily nonstop departures for times to meet his next event, Sanders chose the most carbon-intensive form of travel available.

This resulted in the following:

60.7 tonnes of CO₂ were emitted from just five private flights where commercial travel was viable.

That’s 45 times more CO₂ per leg than flying commercial, per passenger.

To absorb that carbon would require 2,892 mature trees working for a full year.

In other words, the same man who claimed that climate change was an “existential threat,” so much so that it’s a matter of national security, also believes he’s too important to fly with the little people.

If we only have several years left to “substantially cut the amount of carbon in our atmosphere,” why is he burning "enough fuel to undo the carbon-capturing work of nearly 2,900 trees?” This is especially concerning because he has previously claimed that the amount of carbon in the atmosphere will cause “irreversible damage.”

And AOC is even worse when it comes to her climate predictions.

You would also think that someone who believes the world will end in several years will also do everything in their power to not burn “enough fuel to undo the carbon-capturing work of nearly 2,900 trees,” but clearly, these people don’t even believe their own lies.

This is exactly why you should not listen to anything these people say, especially when they demand you give up these “luxuries” while they have no intent of doing that themselves.

It’s pretty clear when they say “we must” what they really mean is “you must.” So, in other words, “rules for thee but not for me.” But can you blame them? This is coming from the side whose only standards are “double standards.” Nevertheless, their motives could not be clearer, and it has nothing to do with saving the world and everything to do with controlling every aspect of your life.
