Canadian students walk out of a field trip, as it turns out, a drag queen show is inappropriate for children

Remember when field trips were days at the museum? Progressives have gotten so deranged that they now, reportedly, may include a day dedicated to watching drag. And the fact that the trip was approved in the first place should have been a huge scandal that never got as far as it did.
WTF
Students in Canada had to be evacuated from a school trip play after it devolved into a sexualized drag queen performance, per the Daily Mail.
Who thought this would be appropriate for CHILDREN??? pic.twitter.com/2RpyWNmpWb

According to the National Post:
The Regina school that sent its students to a LandBack smut-on-stage “courtroom comedy” earlier this week quickly realized its mistake. It had a good excuse, at least: in a letter to parents after the fact, it explained that the performing arts theatre had indicated that the production was age-appropriate. Indeed, the theatre’s website does not mention the part where a drag queen plays a gyrating, rump-thrusting, boob-jiggling version of Queen Elizabeth II in an underbust corset.
It’s clear that the play in question, Little Red Warrior And His Lawyer, is not appropriate for kids. That much is visible from the videos that were circulated on social media on Wednesday by Just Bins, a Saskatchewan garbage company that also does local news reporting. Just Bins posted a copy of the permission slip students filled out to attend, as well as the message to parents afterward. The school confirmed to the Post on Thursday that these communications were authentic.
“Today’s production aligned with the curriculum as it was a satirical farce meets romantic comedy,” reads the letter to parents. “The materials provided by (the theatre) stated the production was rated for students aged 14+ due to mature content. As the play progressed, the production reached levels of maturity beyond expectations, and we made the decision to leave early based on our professional discretion.”
The problem with this excuse is that had the school done just the tiniest bit of research, they would have known that many themes in the play were not age-appropriate.
On the theatre’s website, it states, “Little Red Warrior and His Lawyer contains strong language, mature themes, and sexual humour. The production may also include moments of stylized violence and brief strobe lighting. It is recommended for ages 16+.”
I found that information in 30 seconds. The fact that educators tasked with protecting students could not be bothered to do just that tells you all you need to know. At best, they can claim incompetence. At worst, they knew what they were doing. Both are unacceptable and should be grounds for termination, at the very least.
Maybe -- just maybe -- educators in Canada will start prioritizing things like Math and Science once again, but considering the left has deemed Math racist, and Science turned into Political Science several years ago -- this is the best they got for you. And to claim the people in charge of approving this trip should never be around children is very likely an understatement.
