Rashida Tlaib goes on yet another unhinged rant about how people who disagree with her are fascist

JUST IN: Rep. Rashida Tlaib starts screaming at the top of her lungs after being confronted for saying it’s a ‘fact’ that the United States is experiencing a ‘fascist takeover.’
“We need to stand up against this fascist takeover. That's not a bad word, it's a fact, and here in… pic.twitter.com/GyBBA7hkCy

The Left calling those they disagree with “fascists” is getting extremely old, and all it really does is reflect their own insecurities. Meanwhile, the most radical members of Congress continue to shout because they still cannot accept that they lost the election, proving time and again why they are increasingly irrelevant.
That said, their rhetoric remains extremely dangerous, especially when you consider what the most notorious fascists in history have done. This kind of language has already had deadly consequences—for example, it’s the same type of rhetoric that led to Charlie Kirk’s death. You’d think they might pause for even five seconds, but instead, Rep. Rashida Tlaib has shown the world that she intends to double down.
Despite what she claimed, it is most certainly not a “fact” that we are in a fascist takeover — and if we truly were, she wouldn’t even be allowed to say that. What kind of fascist leader, democratically elected not once but twice, permits open dissent? You would think that the side supposedly promoting fascism would be the one silencing free speech and censoring critics like her, yet that doesn’t seem to add up.
It’s also telling that Charlie Kirk was murdered simply for engaging in free speech — the very concept authoritarian regimes despise most. Nonetheless, she has once again proven to the world that there is no level of unhinged behavior she won’t stoop to, flailing her arms in the air and shouting about threats that simply do not exist.
If elected officials in the federal government want to make statements like that—clearly intended to convince the American people of a thing or two about a thing or two—the very least they could do is provide some evidence to back it up. But she won’t, as proven by the simple fact that we are not living under a fascist takeover.
If the current administration were truly carrying out a fascist takeover, then by that logic, anyone who supports the Trump administration would also be complicit in supporting fascism. So when she claims she’s not slandering anyone and insists the word is just an adjective to describe the phenomenon, she’s being dishonest. In truth, she’s gleefully—if not cringingly—slandering people into oblivion.
It’s unclear what she even means when she claims, “We need to stand up against this fascist takeover,”—but you can do the math. That being said, someone should really inform the Left that just because you scream and throw temper tantrums, it doesn’t put you on the right side of history. Volume does not correlate with accuracy; it’s usually the opposite that proves true.
Nonetheless, this was the most unhinged display of the week, and, astonishingly, she doesn’t resign from sheer embarrassment alone. Then again, she has proven time and again that there is no level of cringe she’s unwilling to stoop to—and at this point, that’s nothing more than a personal problem.
