Washington Police Chief Refuses to Enforce Unconstitutional Gun Laws
Blue states are known for being less than gun-friendly. Good luck trying to own a black tactical assault cannon with a 30-bullet super-clip and baby-seeking missles. Seeing as they haven't had much luck in repealing the Second Amendment, lefty states are taking it upon themselves to nix the gats with new laws.
This police chief in Washington refuses to enforce any of his state's new anti-gun laws:
Washington now has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation after new regulations were passed by nearly 60 percent of the state this month, KXLY reported.
But one local law enforcement official says he won’t be the one enforcing these laws.
Republic Police Chief Loren Culp took to Facebook to tell the citizens of his city, who voted overwhelmingly against the initiative, that he has no plans to implement the rules.
“I’ve taken 3 public oaths, one in the US Army and Two as a police officer. All of them included upholding and defending the Constitution of the United States of America,” Culp wrote.
“As long as I am Chief of Police, no Republic Police Officer will infringe on a citizens right to keep and Bear Arms, PERIOD!”
You know, after seeing lefty anti-gunners call to nuke gun owners, it's good to see there's still some people in government who support the Constitution.
The chief here gets it. "Shall not be infringed" means exactly what it says. It isn't "shall not be infringed unless the gun can shoot like 100 bullet missiles out of its tube thingy in one minute." Translation: keep your grubby government paws off our lead-slinging devices. The end.
The left is making every attempt to deprive us of our constitutional rights. Our right to pack heat being chief among them. Lucky for us, there are people like the chief out there who refuse to enforce unconstitutional laws. The Second Amendment means what it says. Therefore, nothing short of a constitutional amendment can deprive us of our pieces.
