Oregon having a normal one! If it weren't such a beautiful state, I would probably believe it to be completely forsaken by God at this point.

Case in point: twenty-five-year-old Koryn Kraemer was recently accused of biting off an elderly man's ear and chewing his face at a train platform in a suburb of Portland.

You would think that story cannot possibly get worse. I would remind you that it is 2023, meaning, of course, it can.

Kraemer told authorities he believed the victim was a robot because of how he smelled. So of course his natural reaction, as a human defending all of humanity from the coming android takeover, was to bite off the robot's face and reveal the machinery underneath.

Unfortunately, the man was not, in fact, a robot, and police said his wounds were so bad that his skull was visible.

Kraemer did at least have the decency to thank the responding officers for saving him from the robot. He also admitted to using marijuana, fentanyl, and alcohol just before the attack.

Portland's train system could soon rival New York City's for the worst public transportation system in the country. Just a few weeks ago, a homeless woman pushed a 3-year-old child onto the tracks. Luckily, the child was quickly rescued.

The homeless woman had a significant criminal record, including a felony for heroin possession, and one incident where she stabbed a man after he invited her inside for breakfast.

Oregon recently "reformed" its bail system to focus on "flight risk" and "danger to the community" as opposed to whether or not the arrested individual can pay bail. The new law also orders that some defendants are released without bail entirely, depending on the crime.

Plus, homelessness is significantly driving up crime in Portland. The government makes it easy with three meals a day, zero cops, and a lack of drug laws, as resident homeless person Wendy told a reporter last week.
