This is what NYC looks like under Zohran Mamdani.

The fact that this is not surprising should deliver more outrage than it has.

Per the New York Post:

A half-mile section of Washington Heights has been transformed into an open-air prescription drug bazaar, with brazen vendors illegally peddling painkillers, erectile dysfunction pills, and an array of other meds, The Post has learned.

The way these vendors felt emboldened to commit such crimes publicly for everyone and their grandmas to witness tells you all you need to know. While Mamdani is going after landlords and pretending he solved all the problems with daycare, this is what is going on. Let’s just say the priorities are not benefiting residents who want a safe and clean city.

The sprawling street pharmacy stretches across 10 square blocks, in and around West 179th to West 183rd streets and St. Nicholas Avenue with at least 20 vendors showcasing their wares in loose blister packs, boxes, and bottles strewn across dingy folding tables.

“Is it for an adult? You can take up to three a day until they’re all gone,” barked a vendor selling blister packs of the antibiotic amoxicillin for $5 a sheet.

“It’s for phlegm, for the throat. Or one in the morning and one at night,” she advised, standing next to a busy bus stop on West 181st Street and St. Nicholas.

This is a disgrace. New York City residents should not have to accept this as their “new normal.” People need to start holding officials accountable for destroying a once-great city. This is beyond embarrassing.

According to the outlet, the sellers traffic the products into the city from the Dominican Republic. On the off chance an enforcement operation occurs, the sellers leave behind the pills and freely walk away. In other words, this is “just the cost of doing business.”

Occasional enforcement action occurs, but another vendor shrugged it off as just the cost of doing business.

“Just leave [the products] all behind and walk away,” the vendor said with a laugh.

Talk about not "paying your fair share.” These people make large profits, sometimes up to hundreds of dollars a day, yet pay zero in taxes. The fact that the commies in the room don't even acknowledge this is proof their selective outrage is all a fraud.
