Close your eyes. Imagine you were just told three of the Lindsay Clancy jurors are talking to the press, one of whom was the foreperson. They make everything about themselves and how they felt, before lashing out at the one juror responsible for the mistrial. They claim he was "arrogant" and refused to listen to their "expertise." Now open your eyes. Did the people you pictured look and sound any different from these three harpies?

Here's the thing, and this is just a personal thing on my part: I don't get emotional over public show trials. I don't see the point. I'm not in the courtroom listening to both the prosecution AND the defense make their case. All I have to go on is what the media decides to show me to react to, and that quickly devolves into reacting to people reacting. Hashtag ragebait Twitter algorithm.

No one chose to be on the jury. These three CHOSE to enter the arena after they were released by emoting to the media with an unhealthy (yet unsurprising) case of main character syndrome. And if they thought they were making the case for Lindsay or against the lone juror whom they couldn't nag into voting for an acquittal, they failed almost as badly as when they voted for Kamala Harris.

They spewed a lot that it's hard to narrow in on the most infuriating thing they said. Talking about how "excited" they were to acquit Lindsey for murdering her three children was up there. The praise they had for how funny they felt her attorney was is on the list. But if I were to narrow it down to one quote to explain why "Repeal the 19th Amendment" has been trending, it's this line about the "arrogant" male juror who refused to vote not guilty.

He had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children.

Imagine saying that sentence out loud, as an ATTACK on someone's character, and thinking that you are the hero in the story.

Because the opposite is true. SHE had the EASIEST time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children.
