Somali-born superintendent demands dogs be banned from schools for grossly un-American reasons

A Somali-born superintendent claims the saliva of dogs is not pure. This is why he believes it is time to ban dogs in all classrooms.
🚨WATCH: A Muslim school administrator in Maine wants to ban dogs from being class pets because dog saliva is considered impure under Islamic law.Abdullahi Ahmed, a senior administrator at Portland Public Schools in Maine, argued that students and staff “should not be required to interact” with animals at school, and that dogs should be kept out of classrooms and common areas. Instead, kids would “opt in” to visiting a dog in a separate room.Speaking at an Oct. 14 school board policy committee meeting, Ahmed said that under Islamic tradition “the dog’s saliva is considered impure,” and that letting some students pet a dog while others can’t creates conflict. He added that he’d prefer the district “not to have a dog as a class pet.”The board is drafting a new “Animals in Schools” policy, sparked by a teacher’s plan to foster puppies in her classroom.

He does realize he is in America, right? There is a reason we call dogs “man’s best friend,” and the fact that he believes his beliefs somehow justify taking joy from everyone else proves how selfish and arrogant these people truly are.
According to ABC 7:
Dr. Abdullahi Ahmed, the district’s assistant superintendent for student, family, and community partnerships, spoke during a policy committee meeting Oct. 14 as the committee reviewed a district policy about pets in the classroom. The meeting was first reported by The New England Signal.
“In particular there were concerns raised around cultural and religious considerations and making sure that we’re being sensitive to all of the needs of our students and staff. And of course, it’s not only religious but or cultural but just certain people’s experiences with various animals, but but dogs definitely being one of the primary points of conversation,” Ahmed said.
He also used Islamic teachings to accuse dogs of having saliva that is not up to his standards.
“So with that being said, there are some ritual kind of a purity or in that Islamic traditions... So for example, the dog saliva is considered impure. And also some people had some experiences with dogs, which were negative actually in the past,” Ahmed said.
America is not the only place where there is a growing movement against innocent pups. The left is now questioning whether the UK is becoming too friendly to dogs.

Hmmmm. I wonder what could be fueling such a movement.
In case you needed more evidence that multiculturalism cannot work, here it is. Samolis don't like dogs. Americans do. Samolis don't get to come here and start changing the culture because someone, somewhere, made up a concept that dogs are not up to their standards. That is not how things work, and to call this a personal problem for the superintendent would be an understatement.
