Earlier this week, the Irish government recommended that grandparents start asking for consent before hugging their grandkids. This insane reasoning has spread to other parts of Europe. Now, a Scottish museum has removed mummified remains due to the "absence of consent from the deceased individual or their ancestors," according to the BBC.
Egyptian mummies have been removed from a Glasgow museum exhibition due to a lack of 'consent from the deceased', curators have said.https://t.co/QPr1YwdqL1 https://t.co/xwBhFqjcOo

No, this is not satire.
According to the BBC:
Glasgow Life, which manages Kelvingrove, said it had taken the decision to remove the painted coffin containing the remains of Nekht in the "absence of consent from the deceased individual or their ancestors".
Nekht is thought to have lived at some point between 1985 and 1797 BC and was excavated at Beni Hasan in Middle Egypt during digs carried out in the early 20th century.
The remains were donated to the city of Glasgow in 1923.
The left has taken the term "consent" and exploited it to the fullest extent possible. In fact, no one knew it was possible to be this insane, but here we are, apologizing to get the consent for mummified remains. What are we even doing here, people?
Just a reminder of what we are dealing with as a society:
🇮🇪 The Irish state has published an advert discouraging grandparents from hugging their grandchildren, as part of a campaign designed to promote "consent". https://t.co/mQKRn8Dvu3

And some more of this nonsense:
Sexuality expert says parents should ask for consent to change a baby’s diaper https://t.co/wDyMhfL6T5 https://t.co/I1BgMVdjIl

Unclear if it was unclear to this lunatic but it would be considered negligent to not change a kid's diaper. This is why there is no such thing as "consent" for diaper changes, especially when it comes to a freaking newborn. She can make up whatever concept she likes, such as “response matters,” but that does not change the reality that all of this is irrelevant at best, and asinine and insane, at worst. Again, what are we doing here, people?
The left really knows how to exploit a term and use it to fuel their agenda across the culture to the fullest extent possible. It truly is a progressive art form. What nonsense do you think they will come up with next?
