Alex Cooper is telling women to get a divorce. Today’s show breaks down this terrible advice.
“Most men will tell you divorce is one of the worst things to go through, and they will give you a realistic expectation,” Crowder said. “Women who are miserable after getting divorced will still extend that advice and advise that other women make the same mistake. I would say that is why women have crazy standards and are unhappy in relationships with men. All the data we have proves it.”
If you want good advice, do the opposite of what mainstream female podcast hosts tell you.
In a recent episode of Call Her Daddy, Cooper and guest Sophia Bush told listeners that when it comes to divorce, and if you are wondering if things can get better, “the answer is always, yes.”
“The advice is: All women, on the face of the earth, who are married right now, can do better than any individual man they are with,” Crowder said. “There is no rationale behind this. Here is the truth: Women definitely cannot do better and statistically, they do worse.”
According to the data, men get remarried at twice the rate after divorce.
“The standard of living following divorce goes down dramatically for women in comparison to men,” Crowder said. “Can you do better? Yes, provided you know that you are more likely to be alone and much more likely than the man you leave to be poor.”
Crowder added, “Here is the reality: If you are young, let’s say in your 20s, and an attractive woman, you have your choice in dating. As you get older, and if the men are successful and take care of themselves, they have the choice in marriage. That is just reality. You are more likely to be alone for the rest of your life, and absolutely more likely to be poor and have to scale back your standard of living if you are a woman, exclusively, post-divorce. Notice that they do not say that.”
