🔴 The NHS says first-cousin marriage is linked to “stronger extended family support systems and economic advantages”https://t.co/4q3sysCUmx

According to The Telegraph, guidance published last week by NHS England’s Genomics Education Programm claims that first-cousin marriage is associated with “stronger extended family support systems and economic advantages.” I don’t have to tell you how wrong this “guidance” is, but nonetheless, it is utterly absurd and deserves to be fully condemned into oblivion.
According to The Telegraph
The NHS has been urged to apologise for publishing guidance extolling the benefits of first-cousin marriage despite the increased risk of birth defects.
Marrying a first cousin is legal in the UK, but it increases the risk of children inheriting genetic conditions. Health issues such as sickle cell disease and cystic fibrosis are more likely to be carried or contracted in children with parents who are closely related.
Cultures that encourage first-cousin marriage have also been accused of oppressing women and being used as a tool to suppress personal freedoms.
As of writing, nearly half of all U.S. states ban this practice. That is because it is both morally and scientifically unjustifiable. Not only is it degenerate and asinine, but it is also disgusting and has no place in a civilized society.
If I did not know any better, I might say that the left would make up anything to justify outdated and deeply deranged practices in an effort to appease the shrine of “inclusivity.” However, I do know better, so I won’t be saying that. Nonetheless, this is what happens when you stand on the altar that all cultures are morally equivalent— this is more than enough proof to contradict that claim.
Dr Patrick Nash, an expert on religious law and director of the Pharos Foundation social science research group in Oxford, called the guidance “truly dismaying”.
“Cousin marriage is incest, plain and simple, and needs to be banned with the utmost urgency – there is no ‘balance’ to be struck between this cultural lifestyle choice and the severe public health implications it incurs.
And that statement just about sums it up. There is zero reason for leftists to justify things like this, yet clearly they are beholden to an ideology that treats morally inferior practices as nothing more than a cultural difference—perhaps the very reason the U.K. is in decline. That being said, this story is utterly asinine, and it is baffling that it even exists.
