It's been decided by our betters in the media that we have to listen to tweenagers about gun rights. Sure, most of them have no idea what in the blue hell they are talking about (see Los Angeles #MarchForOurLives Not Sure What They Marched For and #MarchForOurLives Protesters Don't Know What an Assault Weapon Is). But it's 2018. Where your feely feels don't care about facts. One person not amused by this is Robert O'Neill, a former Navy SEAL.

Oh, he's also the cat who killed Bin Laden. I should probably mention that.

Here's the point where opponents assign political motives to his comments. I should point out that O'Neill also referred to Trump's military parade as "third world bullshit." O'Neill is hardly a tribal Trump supporter. Just a guy who actually understands the Second Amendment and why we have it. Someone who has probably read a book other than Harry Potter. My Navy SEAL outranks your Hufflepuff.

Either way, the debate rages along on the Twitters and elsewhere. O'Neill can handle it. He does have one request though:

Sounds fair. Anti-2A folks won't stop asking that. But it sounds fair to ask at least.

A request: if you're going to rail against guns, could you please know some basics about guns?
