Nashville Mayor sells out taxpayers, creates new fund to help illegals with housing and more
It’s unclear if the City of Nashville intends to launch a fund to support legal residents or citizens with childcare, transportation, housing, and food, but it is clear they are doing just that for those who have broken federal immigration laws.
The city has launched the “Belonging Fund,” which, according to the press release, is “a new effort to support immigrants in Nashville during moments of crisis. "

The most infuriating thing about that video is that he uses the term “immigrant” when he’s actually talking about illegal aliens.
Our community's strength lies in its diversity and the invaluable contributions of those who have chosen to make Nashville their home. Our immigrant neighbors power industries, enrich the city's culture, and contribute to neighborhoods across the region. Yet, many face sudden and destabilizing challenges, often with little warning or support.
What about the legal citizens who are struggling to make ends meet? Don’t they deserve a handout? How is it even legal to take the tax dollars from struggling Americans and give them to foreign nationals? Not only is that not the government's job, but that is something that will never be “compassionate.”
Additionally, we are talking about targeted deportations right now. This means that the very people the city pretends to want to help have also been accused of crimes post facto. So, it's bad enough that foreign nationals get to benefit from the taxpayers' dime, but it becomes so much worse when those people have created victims while being in this country, when they should not even be here in the first place.

The Belonging Fund helps meet their needs by providing financial resources to nonprofit organizations offering emergency assistance. Funds may be used for housing instability, child care, transportation, food insecurity, or other urgent needs – but not legal services.
The average cost of childcare in the city can be up to $1,000. The fact that foreign nationals benefit from this, while offering nothing in return, is a slap in the face to Americans everywhere.
Don’t you wish the Dems fought for you in the way they fight for foreign nationals who have broken federal immigration laws and committed crimes after the fact? Because at this point, the left has made it very clear who they intend to represent, and it most definitely is not you.
