WNBA coach Natalie Nakase has defended biological men in women’s sports after being asked about Sophie Cunningham. Her stance is worse than you think. Today’s show breaks it down.

“It is the same as the entertainment industry. They are beholden to the Chinese market. They are beholden to advertisers. They are beholden to the same producers. Here she is defending biological men in women’s sports,” Crowder said.

Cunningham recently made headlines for defending women’s sports. According to ESPN, she recently said, "I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men." This should not be controversial, but according to Nakase, sports are about including men in women’s sports.

Per Fox News:

"I think just in terms of how I'm seeing it, if I can answer, for me sports is about belonging. It’s about inclusivity. It’s about allowing everyone to be their authentic self," Nakase said.

The coach then referenced her ethnicity. Nakase is a third-generation Japanese-American, she previously became the first Asian American to play in the National Women's Basketball League (NWBL).

According to Nakase, sports are all about belonging, and that includes trans women, or biological men, if you will.

"I’m big on that because I have been criticized for my height, for my ethnicity. I’ve been in those ‘you shouldn’t belong here,’ [moments] and for me I don’t want that space, especially Golden State, to ever feel like that. "I’m all about women, little girls deserving to play, and that includes trans women. So I’m all about inclusivity."

To deny men having a biological advantage in sports is to disregard reality. For example, only 9 female players have dunked, according to WNBA records. However, 12 men have reached the Moon. Clearly, the playing field is not the same.

“It does not include biological men. It just does not,” Crowder said.
