America was founded on the idea that people are born with inherent rights and that the primary duty of government is to protect those rights. Al-Qaeda is a well-known terrorist organization that was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. It also engages in some of the worst human rights abuses known to man. This is what makes it both bizarre and insane that Hasan Piker told Axios that America is worse than Al-Qaeda.
👀 NEW: @hasanthehun joins @alexthomp on the Season 3 premiere of The Axios Show in what Piker called "the most contentious interview" he's done.

Wow. The fact that some people believe such an asinine statement and might think he has a point is deeply disturbing.
WOW
Democrats still won’t condemn Hasan Piker after he said America is "worse than Al Qaeda."
GALLEGO: “He’s wrong, moving on”
WARREN: “That’s a sentence that makes no sense”

These people suck.
According to the New York Post:
Democratic US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, told “The Axios Show” after being challenged over a recent comment describing America as “the top dog in terrorism.”
“We have caused tremendous terror all around the world,” Piker added, citing as his main example an apparent accidental missile strike on an elementary school for girls in the opening hours of the Iran war Feb. 28.
This is such an absurd statement that I don't have to go and explain to you why he is wrong. In fact, he could not be more wrong if he tried. The problem, however, is that he has a following. This means that there are people far more ignorant than him who believe this nonsense. Just remember, their votes count as much as yours.
You know, if he truly hates America so much, he could just leave. He won't do that, however, because this is the best country in the world, whether he wants to admit it or not.
