Nicki Minaj has found the courage to ask the questions many of our elected officials are too weak to ask: “What sensible forward thinking cutting edge leading nation is having a DEBATE on whether or not there should be VOTER ID?!?!!!!” It turns out, though, that over 80% of Americans agree with her, according to polling data released by CNN's Harry Enten.

According to Enten, in 2018, 76% of Americans believed presenting an ID should be a requirement to vote. Today, that number is 83%.

According to Minaj, leftists are “actually fighting NOT to have people present ID while voting for your leaders!!!!! Do you get it?!?!!!! Do you get it now?!?!!!”

The excuse the left uses is not even a good one. According to proponents of this policy, it's racist to request voter ID. But not only is claiming Black people are too stupid to have an ID the most racist thing in the book, it's a lie.

Firstly, there's no evidence to suggest there is a correlation between skin color and ID ownership. Secondly, the fact that the left implies certain races are too stupid to get an ID is more racist than they could ever comprehend. Thirdly, it opens up the door for fraud, despite the left claiming that even questioning it is a conspiracy theory.

Additionally, this is what the people want. Secure elections should not be controversial, but any elected official claiming you don't deserve election integrity should be investigated to the fullest extent. There is nothing moral about working this hard to prevent secure elections, and the only logical conclusion is that sinister and selfish motives are at play.

One argument the left often uses is that there's not enough voter fraud to take election security seriously in the first place. Even if that were true, this does not mean you make it so that people can abuse the law in this way. This would be logically equivalent to saying that motor vehicle theft is a rare crime, and thus, there is no need for laws to protect people from these offenses.

Another claim the left makes is that voter laws were often used to discriminate against Black people. And while this may have been true, this is not the case today. You don't appeal to history when that historical reference has nothing to do with today. This would be logically equivalent to saying drinking fountains were once separated by color and thus, we must ban all fountains. That is not how reality works. Also, voter ID would be required for all races, so this is not even a good argument.

Worst of all, though, is their assumption that Black people are too incompetent to get an ID. This is both false and racist. So, while these people claim they are all in it to help minorities, their actions and rhetoric prove otherwise.

Not only is this what the people want, but it's also the most sensible and logical way to handle things. And anyone who pretends otherwise is either clinically incompetent or has sinister intentions.

Only the left can take such a normal thing, like presenting ID to vote, and make it controversial. We are dealing with deeply unserious and deranged individuals, making this even more evidence you didn't need that proves just how much the left hates you. But what else is new?
