Apparently migrants aren't getting the hint about us not wanting them to hop over illegally. The border fence didn't make it clear enough. Herds of Central Americans are now trampling the continent in the form of a caravan. Clown cars come to mind. Except instead of red noses and balloon animals it's MS-13 tattoos and anchor babies.

President Trump promise he'd do something to block said caravan (see Video: Trump Announces the Military will be Guarding the Border). Alas, here we are...

Seventy more Central American migrants were allowed to cross into the U.S. on Thursday, bringing the total number to 158 over the last few days. The group of men, women and children were allowed to make their way into the port of entry border crossing in California on Thursday morning, joining dozens of others who had already crossed.

Roughly 60 more migrants are still waiting in Mexico, hoping to make it into the U.S. to seek asylum. Customs and border officials have only allowed small numbers of asylum-seekers through at a time, because the processing facility was already at capacity upon the group's arrival.

As the members of the so-called caravan of migrants continue to make their way into the U.S., Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Wednesday that U.S. attorneys and federal judges will be sent to the southern border to deal with immigration cases.

Sounds as if customs and border officials are standing by as the undocumented invite themselves in. Scooping up handfuls at a time to be "processed." Forgive my lack of faith in the system, but I doubt much vetting is actually taking place as southern fence-hurdlers salsa through the border (see Nancy Pelosi: ICE Unfairly Targeted 'Law-Abiding' Illegal Immigrants).

The number could quickly approach 200. But hundreds of illegals scrambling into California to paw at the governmental teat is just a regular Thursday for the Golden State. So while this instance proves our need for a viable national security, leftists will consider it a victory. Compassion in action.

Methinks a fat wall would be quite effective in stopping caravans. Can't say it would do much to protect Californians from leftist stupidity, though.
