Watch: Crowder vs Jillian Michaels On Platforming Nick Fuentes
Watch Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!
Special Guest Jillian Michaels, host of Keeping It Real, joined today’s show to help clear the air.
She was accused of being a White Nationalist on Piers Morgan, and she has confirmed on the show that she is not, in fact, a White Nationalist.
She claims her argument was misinterpreted because she made the statement on CNN that White people ended slavery, and you can't demonize all of them because it may lead more people to commentators like Nick Fuentes.
She also clarified that although she is an Arab, she does not, in fact, hate the Jews. She also does not deny the Armenian genocide, despite being part Turkish.
According to a post by Michaels on Dec 2, she said, “If you’d spent five minutes on Google, @scrowder, you’d see I’ve never claimed to be a conservative. I’ve always said I’m a moderate who happens to enjoy the company of conservatives and prefers the way they govern over progressives. And - if you only trust the concerns of established conservatives, @charliekirk1 was fairly adamant that there’s no place for Fuentes in conservatism.”
She added on X that, “And look — you strike me as a guy who's not afraid of confrontation. So if you take umbrage with me voting Republican and asking your party to clearly denounce racism, sexual violence, and antisemitism, we can always have that conversation face-to-face instead of through chopped-up YouTube clips.”
On the show, she referenced and criticized how Fuentes claimed that “a lot of women want to be raped.” She clarified that the study stated that the women said that they would never actually want that to happen, and that it's nothing more than a fantasy. She also added that a dominant male is not someone who beats a woman.
“Do you think blankly disavowing a person is better than clarifying their statements and understanding where they come from so that you can present the case to understand why not?” Crowder said.
Michaels clarified that she does think it's important to disavow people who say things like women shouldn't be allowed to vote, emphasizing that, “The literal definition of the word, which is this, is not a part of who I am.”
“We are agreeing over semantics. When you disavow someone, you are saying you disagree,” she added.
Later on in the interview, Crowder asked Michaels if she would care if White people were a minority in America.
“The skin color thing is not my issue. The value thing is my issue. My issue is American values,” she clarified.
“I am not equating them to skin color, but we need to understand why some people might and realize that it's not just skin color,” Crowder said. “We make generalizations, and we have a self-preservation system.”
Crowder added that it's more about limiting immigration from certain countries because they don't accept American values and are also taking many jobs from Americans.
“It’s why people like Nick Fuentes are just eating the lunch of old guard conservatives,” Crowder said. “There is this perversion of ignorance of grievances from people.”
Michaels responded by saying she agrees with a lot of that, but there is a disservice to the message when “making it about skin color,” saying it’s more about principles and volumes.
“If you are trying to communicate this, you are doing yourself a disservice by making it about skin color because you also effectively allow the left to shut you down with that,” she added.
Crowder clarified that he isn’t making it about skin color; rather, it’s about meeting people where they are, even if they insist on framing it that way, and understanding their perspective.
“I see people abandon fundamental principles for a new voting base that isn't going to be around that long anyway,” Crowder added.
