Man Who Pointed Gun at BLM Protestors Speaks Out: I was in fear for my life!

Courtney Kirchoff
June 29, 2020

Whatever the full story of this is, if you trespass on private property, and your movement has a history of getting violent with people, their cars, their businesses, or their homes, expect to meet the pointy end of a firearm. I say this as someone with a home who is also in possession of firearms. A couple in St. Louis confronted Black Lives Matter protesters who stormed through their neighborhood (trespassing) in search of the mayor. The couple's video went viral for all the obvious reasons. Now, Mark McCloskey, or He Who Held the AR While Wearing a Pink Polo, has spoken out.

'We were in fear for our lives'; St. Louis couple who pointed guns at protesters speaks youtu.be

The following was not quoted in the video above, which I find odd, but would give me every reason to lock and load. From KMOV4 News:

"A mob of at least 100 smashed through the historic wrought iron gates of Portland Place, destroying them, rushed towards my home where my family was having dinner outside and put us in fear for our lives," McCloskey said.
"This is all private property. There are no public sidewalks or public streets. I was terrified that we'd be murdered within seconds, our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob," McCloskey told News 4.

The mob has done some crazy things. We've already seen them getting violent against a horse trailer, presumably with horses inside, there was a 911 call over the weekend where rioters were getting rioty against a woman in her car with her daughter. There's this story of protesters getting violent against a car with a dog inside. That on top of all the peacefully protesting mobs that attack innocent people just because.

So yeah, I can understand how Mark here felt threatened. If a group of peaceful protesting rioters showed up in my neighborhood, gated or not, threatening me or my pack of dogs, I'd brandish my weapons as well.

What's really scary here is how the riots have moved out of the cities and into the suburbs. The fight is coming.
