🚨 BREAKING: Many New Yorkers are furious after Mayor Zohran Mamdani says ILLEGAL ALIENS will be eligible to receive universal taxpayer-funded child care

According to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, it does not matter what your nationality is, as the city will be funding universal child care for foreign nationals, despite it being put on the taxpayers' dime. He added that, despite people breaking federal immigration laws, these families should still be afforded benefits that they likely don't even get in their native country. It’s unclear when people like him will start putting the American people first, but as of the writing of this, they are dead last. But what else is new?
According to WABC:
The initiative expands on the city’s existing free pre-K and 3-K programs and begins with a pilot offering no-cost childcare for children under age 2 in high-need neighborhoods. City officials say the program is designed to help working families across New York City, with eligibility tied to residency and a child’s age – not a parent’s citizenship.
Under current guidelines, families can apply regardless of income or immigration status, a practice city leaders say aligns with how other universal programs are structured. Supporters argue the approach prevents children from being excluded from early education and allows parents to stay in the workforce.
Critics, however, say the policy effectively extends taxpayer-funded benefits to undocumented immigrants and raises concerns about cost, capacity, and fairness. The pilot program is expected to expand gradually, with officials stressing that long-term funding and enrollment rules will continue to be debated as the city works toward full universal childcare.
You would assume that, given these funds and resources are not infinite, city officials should not be offering the program to the entire world. However, according to them, so long as you have a New York City address to claim, that is all that matters. It does not matter if you pay taxes or not, it does not matter if you have broken federal immigration laws, and it does not matter if you hate this country, because, according to the left, free things are based solely on principle and not facts.
While it's great that Mamdani is "proud to be a sanctuary city," that’s not how this country was ever intended to work. He can offer all the free things he wishes to foreign nationals, but that only proves how much he hates you. Not that you needed any more evidence that these people are not in it for the American people, but if the shoe fits, it fits.
Someone will pay the cost of this, despite the mayor claiming it’s free, and it will make everyone worse off. But what else is new?
