For a guy we enjoyed sh*tting on for most of the past year and a half, John Fetterman has been a delight to write about as of late. No, I don't think he is on our side. More on that in a bit. But it's fun for now. Democrats have "Republicans" like Ana Navaro and Alyssa Farah Griffin yakking it up with the other shrill harpies on The View. Republicans, for the time being, have this homeless chic fashion icon.

Fetterman's latest break from Democrats is on their favorite app TikTok. The Senator blames TikTok for why so many young progressives turn out to be pro-Hamas antisemites. "A lot of [young] people are getting their perspective from TikTok. If you get your perspective on the world from TikTok, your views are going to be warped."

Odd flex for anyone with a (D) after their name to make, what with the Democrat Party being so dependent on low-information voters easily manipulated by influencers and the Communist China-owned app:

Progressive media, which is a fancy way of saying "media," is starting to take notice. MSNBC's Mehdi Hasan, who was recently devoted because his pro-Hamas simping was too much for even NBC News, is angry over Fetterman making too much sense. He liked it better when Fetterman made little sense.

The Community Notes on the Fetterman tweet comes in handy and is a reminder that, no, Fetterman is not on our side. He might be playing a moderate NOW. However...

"We have started a progressive movement here in Pennsylvania."

"Progressive values have been the heart of my campaign. Whatever happens on May 15, I'm proud to be here tonight with Bernie Sanders."

"Ready to keep fighting for a stronger Pennsylvania? Chip in whatever you can to help us take this progressive momentum all the way to the ballot box."

"Progressive rhetoric is great but progressive results are [100 emoji]."

This begs an interesting question. Has being "progressive" become so toxic in Pennsylvania that Fetterman is making the changes a full three years before he is up for reelection? Or has the stroke ackshually made him smarter? Discuss among yourselves.
