Progressives turned on JK Rowling faster than they normally do someone with a platform who has a slightly different opinion than them on a single issue. Harry Potter alum Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are no exception. The difference is, unlike other progressives, JK Rowling is the only reason either of them exists. If they were to apologize, the author says she would not be interested.

Rowling was a left-wing icon. People who haven't read any other books would identify as Hogwarth's sects to describe how they were going to "resist" Donald Trump. Then, one day, the author defended a woman who said a man was a man and a woman was a woman. When JK didn't let herself get cyber bullied into apologizing for something she had no reason to be sorry for, she was cast out of the club. Which she cried about on a giant pile of money.

Since then, science has shown (as opposed to "the science" which is otherwise known as "the narrative") that maybe, just maybe, pumping minors up with permanently life-altering puberty blockers and/or allowing them to mutilate their genitals might be unadvised. It's been outlawed in the UK, thanks to a landmark study by Dr. Hilary Cass.

When asked if she is expecting an apology from Harry and Hermione, Rowling said, "Meh."

More specifically, she says it's not safe for them to do so. "Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces."

There won't be an apology. Everyone was quick to read the denoucement their PR reps were told to write for them in 2020. Only in Radcliffe's case, he doubled down and bragged about denouncing the only reason any of us know who he is.

Rowling will have to be content in knowing she is both right and stinkin' rich. I'm sure she'll manage.
