Store That Inspired “Toy Story” Forced To Shut Down Over The “Perils And Violence” Of Living In A Progressive City
Progressives destroy everything they get their hands on. Typically, that is through the implementation of degenerate policies that de facto cause destruction. And we all know there is no perfect example for that than San Francisco itself. What was once considered the Paris of the West has turned into a zombie apocalypse that the third world could not even dream of. And unfortunately, innocent residents are the ones to succumb to these policies by the very people meant to represent them.
San Francisco's oldest toy store, which is also known for inspiring Pixar’s “Toy Story”, is permanently closing.
“Jeffrey’s Toys said Friday it will be closing at the end of February. The city’s crime and violence was cited as a significant factor in the decision to shutter the 86-year-old business.
Founders Morton and Birdie Luhn began exclusively selling toys after World War II, according to the shop’s website.
San Francisco has seen a long list of retailers close in the last few years.
Whole Foods, Old Navy, Saks Off 5th, Office Depot, Athleta, Abercrombie & Fitch, Disney, Marshall’s, H&M, and Gap are among the closures.”
“The store has been struggling for a number of years, due to the perils and violence of the downtown environment, inflation, the decrease in consumer spending, and the demise of retail across the world," said Ken Sterling, the attorney for the family. “The leadership of the City of San Francisco and the Downtown Association have their work cut out for them on how to revitalize what was once a vibrant and fun downtown experience”
It is truly scary to think about what that city will be like in 10 years. How many stores will even be left? There's only so much abuse these businesses and law-abiding residents can take.
It truly is sad that this mom-and-pop shop had to first go through the Panny D while its neighbors at Target stayed open, to then be consumed by crime and violence. It is truly baffling, to say the very least.
But of course, there's no room for a toy store in a progressive-run city.
Don’t you remember how incredible it was to go to one as a child? It was more magical than Disneyland or any other place. The amount of excitement kids feel when they walk in those places makes it seem as if they are on top of the world.
But Progressives cannot have that when they are in charge of things. These people hate anything that brings joy to life. Misery loves company. And that is why they must destroy anything and everything within their reach.
The left also loves their outrage. That is why they are always shouting about it and forcing it upon the people they were elected to protect.
Only Progressives can take one of the richest and most beautiful cities in the country, and turn it into our nation's 'doo-doo' capital. And I would not be surprised if that city one day has more “doo-doo” than people.
Time will only tell what will become of that city.
