Let's be clear from the jump: Jake Tapper deserves zero credit for this. We here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website award Jake Tapper zero credit for his come-to-Jesus moment over what horrible people the Left are. I know that you know he knows he'd never say this out loud if he hadn't been selling a book. But when podcasters alluded to all cops being bastards when Jake said his fifteen-year-old son wanted to be one, it was like a lightbulb went off.

Tapper was on The Prof G Pod, where he shared a story from when he was on another podcast and mentioned his fifteen-year-old son, who likes to play football, wanted to be a police officer. The prog hosts turn it into a quip by asking how his son feels about minorities.

Like the idea that he wants to be a policeman, therefore he's racist, and that was the big laugh, and I got dragged in the comments. I thought to myself... this is why you f*ckers are losing elections. Like my football playing son who has no political views... you're deciding he's a racist because he wants to be a cop.

The hosts of the podcast he didn't want to name have come out and claimed Tapper is "willfully choosing to take a joke wrong." Far be it from me to analyze what is and isn't a joke made on a podcast, but the audience for the joke didn't seem to think it was one. It's not like Jake Tapper doesn't have a reason to believe it's how progressives really feel about cops, and would feel that way about a teenager who wants to be one.

I have a friend who owns a restaurant, and on her personal Facebook page a few years ago, she mentioned wanting to make dinners to show her appreciation to the local police and asked if anyone would like to donate. One of her alleged Facebook friends ratted her out to whatever progressive douchebage Facebook group, who then tried to have my friend's restaurant shut down. This was all over the progressive propaganda that not only are all cops racists, but so are people who don't hate cops.

Here's why Jake doesn't get any credit... he works for CNN. The reason why the left gets away with thinking this is because they are NEVER called out on it by alleged journalists on CNN. The lie about cops "hunting down" black people when the truth is that police shootings of unarmed black men are relatively rare is one of the many, many, MANY left-wing narratives Jake Tapper never cared enough to shut down prior to this.

Something for Jake to consider as they pivot to using their Biden book as an excuse to be even more anti-Trump than they already are.
