Ilhan Omar's Uncovered Tweet Refers to American Soldiers as Terrorists
If you're familiar with Black Hawk Down, you'll know about the clusterf**k that was the Battle of Mogadishu. Some maniacal douchelord tried starving his own peeps to death, we intervened, a lot of people got killed. What you might not know is Congresswoman Ilhan Omar thinks we were the bad guys in that showdown:
A newly unearthed tweet shows Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar attacking the U.S. soldiers who fought and died in the Battle of Mogadishu.
Omar was responding to another tweet about the Battle of Mogadishu, a 1993 humanitarian operation by the U.S. military that sought to save starving Somalis by preventing food and aid from being captured by enemy combatants. The battle ultimately took the lives of 19 American soldiers and wounded 73 others, and it became the subject of the famous Hollywood movie “Black Hawk Down.”
Uh, is it just me, or did Omar refer to American soldiers as terrorists?
Omar seems to be implying we were terrible for not letting that Aidid guy starve his peeps to death. She even threw in a "not today Satan" hashtag for good measure. Yeah, darn us meddling American butt-dumplings and our evil belief in basic human rights.
God only knows what other crazy quotes of Omar's we'll be digging up in the future. Maybe something like "America was in the wrong for putting a boot in Hitler's ass. After all, someone needed to take those Jews down a peg or two." After this loopy tweet reveal, few things would surprise me.
It's becoming clear we and Ilhan aren't playing for the same team. As if the blatant anti-Semitism and hatefulness toward 'Murica weren't already evident. Yet, lefties are touting Omar as the bee's knees. Kinda says a lot about what direction the left wants to take us. A nosedive straight into the gutter.
