Bodycams for the win! "The View's" Sunny Hostin busted using her celebrity privilege when cops caught her son trespassing

According to Sunny Hostin, “no one is above the law.” Unless, of course, it’s her son because he graduated from Harvard and teaches geometry.
Hostin’s son, 24-year-old Gabriel Hostin, was detained and issued a citation for trespassing along Metro-North Railroad tracks in Westchester County. As the officer said, this is not the “crime of the century.” It is simply holding him accountable for his actions. This should not be controversial, and if we are going by Hostin’s logic, his privilege should not get him out of the ticket. The problem here is that for many on the left, the only standards they have are double standards, which is precisely why she tried to do just that.
Sunny Hostin rails against White Privilege, Pretty Privilege, Tall Privilege…
But when her Harvard son gets cited for trespassing?
She pulls the “I’m a former federal prosecutor” card on bodycam.
Her privilege isn’t a problem, it’s a right.

Per the New York Post:
“My name is Sunny Hostin and I’m one of the co-hosts of ‘The View’ and I’m a former federal prosecutor,” the 57-year-old mom can be heard saying to the responding officers in the bodycam footage obtained Friday by The Post.
Gabriel Hostin was detained on the side of the tracks in New Rochelle for “criminal trespassing” shortly before 8 p.m. on June 16 near 24 Station Plaza after he was spotted “on the right-of-way of the active railroad tracks, in violation of the posted no trespassing signs,” according to the footage and court records
Ultimately, the 24-year-old was slapped with a trespass violation for what can be an arrestable offense —but not without first trying to sweet talk his way out of the slap on the wrist.
His mother will be representing him in court. This is unsurprising and not a problem in itself. The scandal, however, is her double standards and attempting to use her privilege despite her longstanding racist remarks of calling White people privileged.

The standards sure are double for her and her son, aren't they?
Again, this is also a woman who has claimed no one “is above the law.”
Sunny Hostin approves of the Hunter Biden firearms violation trial because it shows "no one is above the law."
She admits Hunter lied on his purchasing form and even though they're not prosecuted often "That's how the country is supposed to work" and the trial should proceed. pic.twitter.com/2wuKSiDFYC

The president is not above the law, according to her, but being a former federal prosecutor seems to afford her that right. Weird how it works out that way.
