John Fetterman loses all patience with shrill Sunny Hostin calling him a sellout for voting to end the Schumer Shutdown

Sunny Hostin BERATES John Fetterman for daring to vote for opening government and restoring paychecks to workers and SNAP to needy Americans instead of using it as leverage to enforce progressive policy preferences.

Someone should really inform Sunny Hostin that just because radical leftists can survive a government shutdown—something that mostly affects the little people in their eyes—that doesn’t mean it’s not a serious problem for a huge chunk of Americans. And the left knows that, which makes it even worse.
This is why it’s reprehensible, yet unsurprising, that people like Sunny Hostin berate Democrats like John Fetterman, who are simply doing what they believe is the best course of action for their constituents.
According to the Daily Caller:
Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman fired back at “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin on Tuesday as she attempted to shame him for voting to reopen the government.
“Poll after poll found more Americans on both sides of the aisle blaming Republicans. Even Marjorie Taylor Greene blamed the GOP,” Hostin began. “As you mentioned, Democrats had big wins last week, so you had momentum. Why give in now? Why bring a butter knife to a gunfight? Are you willing to gamble that the GOP will negotiate on health care in good faith once the government reopens? Because if that gamble is wrong, half a million Pennsylvanians that you represent, their health care costs will skyrocket if you are wrong. And I believe you are wrong.”
If everyone is blaming Republicans, why aren’t they blaming Republicans? Even if that were true—which it’s not—why would it matter when Americans are suffering? Has Hostin forgotten that the job of lawmakers is to represent the American people, not hold them hostage in political theater? Maybe she doesn’t care, or maybe she’s naive. I don’t know—probably all of the above is true. Nonetheless, calling this action akin to bringing “a butter knife to a gunfight” only proves how little she actually cares.
We all know the left isn’t doing this to improve healthcare for Americans, and that’s a slap in the face to anyone with even a fraction of a brain. How much brain does Hostin have? That remains unclear.
“Well, first of all, you know, MTG is quite literally the last person in America that I’m going to take advice or to get their kinds of my leadership and values from,” Fetterman said. “And now if Democrats are celebrating crazy pants like that, then that’s on them. And I don’t need a lecture. I don’t need a lecture from whether it’s Bernie or the governor in California, because they are representing very deep blue, blue kinds of populations. And a lot of those things were part of the extreme.”
The people Newsom and Sanders represent are not the same as those Fetterman represents. Again, none of this is rocket science. Nonetheless, Hostin’s attack was a pathetic and cheap attempt to make him regret what he believed was in the best interest of Americans—especially since those who disagree with that action have shown they couldn't care less about any of that.
I’m not sure who Hostin is fighting for, but it certainly isn’t you.
