Right now, our government is on hiatus over funding for the wall. As usual, Democrats are making every excuse they can to withhold greenbacks from going toward the glorious slab. A Democrat congressman made an appearance on a program and he got himself a grilling from the host on that very subject:

Yarmuth: I think what Democrats object to is the idea that this is not a decision that's based on a realistic assessment of what is actually security.

Host: I've had the head of Border Patrol, the chief of operations of Border Patrol, the head of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. All tell me unequivocally a border wall, which would have to be built piecemeal in places across the border, would help border security. So, why do we keep hearing members of the Democratic congress come forward saying it wouldn't work and it's stupid, when not only do we have the people actually in charge of border security saying it would work and it's not stupid, we can see it already does work in places where there's a wall?

Yarmuth: ...that's exactly right.

Host guy is on point here. Sure, even with a wall, some illegals will still get through. The thing is they're gonna have a much harder time getting over a thousand mile concrete slab. Hopefully one with concertina wire and spikes on top. Most of those illegals will think twice before trying to ascend that bad boy.

Lefties seem to think we're being unfair for trying to get some of that border security. Except, we've been hearing way too many tales of illegal dicklords hopping the fence and bringing a whole lot of rape, murder, and illicit substances with them.

This exchange highlights an important truth. Lefties have no valid excuses for why we can't build up a glorious slab of concrete to repel illegal douche-nuggets. The same applies to pretty much everything else. Maybe they should just go ahead and admit they're being a bunch of obstructionist doucheburritos.
