We regret to inform you that Texas has been messed with once again. This time, at a Hooters. Yeah, I know. "But Brodigan, it popped off at a Hooters? How can people get angry over wings and marginally attractive girls?" It didn't start inside the family-friendly establishment (unlike other places in Texas). It started outside, allegedly over a chocolate bar.

One thing led to another. There was a beatdown. And something went through the window.

TMZ has the details. What happened was a group of kids was selling chocolate outside of the Hooters. I'm guessing, "for charity." I'm also guessing they did not have permission to be there, because the manager asked them to leave. This is when the kids, many of whom shirtless, grew agitated over being told they could not raise money for their "charity" outside of the Hooters.

So they broke the manager's arm. They smashed a window. And in the process, injured a customer as well. Police are "investigating this as an aggravated assault case."

Kids soliciting outside of stores is common and in most cases annoying. It's always said to be for "charity," though critics will say without evidence that it isn't for charity. I'm not sure if that was the case with these lil' fundraisers, and I'd hate to be the spreader of misinformation.

What I will say is in my experience, people raising money for a legit charity don't assault people for asking them to move. Also, and this is key, they are fully clothed.
