The problem with entering the country illegally is that this is, in fact, a crime. So, when the media tried to make ICE agents the bad guys for upholding federal immigration laws that Congress enacted, Tom Homan had no choice but to say what needed to be done.

Speaking with reporters, Homan was asked if parents should be arrested at bus stops in front of their kids. The way the question was phrased is a problem, as it implies the ones enforcing the law are on the wrong side of history, even though a man has been living here illegally for two decades. Homan then reminded the leftist reporter that this is a personal problem for the man who broke the law.

What is so infuriating about this is that the sympathy lies with those who break our laws that are intended to uphold national security. The reporter could not care less that federal officers put themselves at risk every day because of illegal aliens. Nope. The problem, according to leftist logic, lies with the ones fighting to ensure national security. Do you need any more proof of how much the left hates you?

According to the reporter, "He was in the country illegally for 20 years but did not commit any other crimes while in the interior of the United States.” As if committing crimes post facto somehow absolves them of previous crimes. Homan responded by claiming that just because your child is an American citizen, that does not make the illegal any less guilty. The fact that this needs to be said proves how lost the left truly is. What a disgrace.
