AOC recently gave Border Czar Tom Homan a stern finger-pointing for charging Rep. LaMonica McIver for assaulting ICE officers. She went as far as to claim that “if [he] put a finger on Congress people that were at the Newark facility, there would be consequences.” However, Homan has confirmed he is still “waiting on the consequences.”

LOL. I am sure those “consequences” will occur any day now…

Unlike AOC, Homan makes good on his promises.

According to Fox News:

The Department of Justice has accused Rep. LaMonica McIver of assaulting two federal agents at the Delaney Hall Detention Facility in New Jersey last month, according to a new charging document.

The document cites bodycam footage from law enforcement officers who recorded events as McIver and two other New Jersey lawmakers stormed the ICE facility. Prosecutors say the first officer McIver allegedly assaulted was a Homeland Security Investigations agent and the second was an ICE agent.

The DOJ accuses McIver of having "slammed her forearm into the body of a uniformed HSI agent and reached out and tried to restrain the agent by forcibly grabbing him."

For far too long, many Democrats have acted as if they are above the law. However, that is no longer the case with the current administration. Subsequently, as the saying goes, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

The charging document also states that McIver "pushed an ICE officer & used her forearms to forcibly strike the agent."

McIver rejected the charges in a public statement, arguing they are "purely political."

Prosecutors say McIver helped create a "human shield" and blocked agents from handcuffing Newark Mayor Ras Baraka after he ignored numerous warnings to leave the property and was told he would be arrested.

The fact that this is what local officials and members of Congress spend their time on is deeply concerning, as they have proven they intend to represent anyone but the American people.

Americans have suffered for far too long under leftist open border policies, and the fact that they do everything to uphold that, despite it being incredibly unpopular with the American people, tells you all you need to know.

Maybe, just maybe, the left will represent and defend you like the way they do for criminal aliens, but until then, don’t hold your breath.
