Although Trump may be preparing for the debate, there’s no doubt that he is not “practicing” for it and that he didn’t “practice” when he was running against Biden. And even though Sleepy Joe probably rested for the debate, he likely didn't “practice” either. However, the same is not true for our DEI pick no one voted for.

According to NBC:

Trump is preparing by having meetings with and getting foreign policy coaching from allies, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard. Harris has been participating in mock debates with Philippe Reines, who also played Trump during Hillary Clinton's debate prep in 2016.

It’s been reported that Harris planned on holding at least four of these “mock” debates. Unclear how many other presidents have had to prepare in this way, but if you are trying to become the most powerful in the world, you would think that person would be confident enough to argue their positions.

Kamala is using former Clinton adviser Philippe Reine, who also stood in during mock debates for Hilary. And what is interesting about that is that not only did the media play up Hilary’s gender as they do with Kamala, but it turns out that when you rely on insignificant character traits that does not tend to be a winning campaign strategy.

Do you think someone who prepares in this way would effectively negotiate with Hamas?

Clearly, not. Especially, considering any negotiations have been unsuccessful since she became the de facto president.

Additionally, the debate will be on ABC, which is nearly always favorable reporting for her. Comparatively, the opposite is true for Trump. That being said, her campaign is still freaking out, which is extremely telling.

Unclear how much these mock debates with a fake Trump will help her but this is probably the best you can expect from a DEI pick.
