Watch: Three reasons why Generation Z is the first generation to be dumber than the previous one

Gen Z is measurably dumber than the previous generation. Today’s show breaks down why.
“Everything we have right now, these rapid advancements in technology, the argument is always, ‘what ramifications will it have and will that be counterbalanced enough by the improvements?’” Crowder said.
According to the New York Post:
The generation born between 1997 and 2010 is the very first generation who did worse in school than the generation before them, according to a top neuroscientist.
“They’re the first generation in modern history to score lower on standardized academic tests than the one before it,” Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath, 43, told The Post. “And to make matters worse, most of these young people are overconfident about how smart they are. The smarter people think they are, the dumber they actually are.
“They underperformed on basically every cognitive measure, from basic attention, memory, literacy, numeracy, executive function and general IQ.”
“Everything they have been doing for the last decade, we have to do the opposite, and we have to do it as quickly as possible,” Crowder said. “Gen Z is dumber and, more importantly, they are unstable.”
At least 65% of Gen Zers have experienced at least one mental health problem in the last two years.
This statistic was lower for all older generations, including millennials (51%), Gen Xers (29%) and Boomers (14%).
“More mental illnesses than those who fought in major wars,” Crowder said. “You have a generation of people who lack purpose.”
Gen Z also happens to be the first generation be ruled under “leftist domination of all institutions,”
“We have dumber, fatter, sicker, mentally sicker, worse relationships, and less successful lives,” Crowder said. “Does anyone want to argue that big tech, the media, the entertainment industry, and academia are a bastion of right-wing extremism? Every single young American has been forced to engage with and trust those institutions.”
