At least one in three children born on Medi-Cal has an “undocumented” mother. This has been going on for over a decade. Gavin Newsom had more than enough time to call out this misuse of tax dollars, but decided to wait until the end of his governorship to at least pretend to care.

If I did not know any better, I would say this is a scam to portray himself as moderate in an effort to win over swing voters in the next presidential election, but I do know better, so I will not be saying any of that.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is moving to scale back health insurance for illegal immigrants in the state and clear out homeless encampments statewide.

It’s also comical that he FINALLY pretends he wishes to get rid of encampments when he promised to do so for over 20 years.

It's pretty ironic how the man who promised for two decades to fix the homelessness crisis ended up making it far worse than the third world could ever imagine. And do you think it's just a coincidence that the more the left promises to fix it, the worse it gets? Because I don't.

And remember when Newsom pretended to clean up an encampment?

Per the New York Times, Newsom is set to call for the freezing of Medi-Cal enrollments for illegal immigrant adults in a Wednesday budget presentation, which would take place as soon as January. He is also reportedly seeking to charge those who remain with the state version of Medicaid $100 per month starting in 2027.

Newsom has estimated that these moves would save the state $5.4 billion by fiscal year 2028-29. This comes as the state faces a budget deficit in 2025. Newsom has partially blamed the budget woes on a $16 billion drop in tax revenue from the trade turbulence experienced under Trump. Newsom has referred to these impacts as a "Trump Slump."

The fact that giving illegal aliens free healthcare, while Americans go into medical debt and foot the bills for foreign nationals, cost the state over $5 BILLION is a huge scandal that should not be forgotten if and when this buffoon runs for president.

If I were Newsom's campaign manager, I would be telling him to do exactly what he is doing. And it goes without saying how disingenuous these sudden initiatives are, as Americans in the state have suffered greatly under his watch. But how else will he win over swing voters in middle America?

That said, California is the poster child of how to destroy a once-great state. And the last thing Americans need is another nepo politician pretending to care.
