Clearly, the left has not learned its lesson from the 2024 presidential election.
Democrat Ohio Attorney General candidate Elliot Forhan claimed he plans to “kill Donald Trump” if he becomes elected. However, he clarified that he does not mean “kill” in the “unalive” sense, but a judicial killing, if you will. This is because he has not learned anything from the Fani Willis situation, nor has he considered the fact that nonsense like this is exactly what cost the left the election.
According to Forhan, he is “going to obtain a conviction rendered by a jury of his peers at a standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt based on evidence presented at a trial conducted in accordance with the requirements of due process resulting in a sentence duly executed of capital punishment.”
Now, the problem with this is that in America, you need evidence of a crime before you investigate and prosecute someone. You don't choose a suspect and then look for proof of the alleged crime you think may have occurred. But I am no legal expert, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
Again, the left has learned nothing. This crap is deeply unpopular with the American people and used to be something only seen in third-world countries. Just because you disagree with someone politically, that does not give you the right to prosecute them, especially when that person was given a mandate by voters.
It’s painfully pathetic how candidates in state and local elections think they have more authority than the man who received the popular vote in the presidential election. Not only is that extremely un-American, but it’s a slap in the face to all the people who voted for it. But you see, the left does not care about what the people want, so long as they get their way. So, while the voters gave Trump a mandate, this man believes the morally superior thing to do is “kill” him. You truly cannot make this level of delusion up.
