The problem with Socialism is that it almost always infringes on the rights of the people. This is why it is so hard to implement in America, as we have this little thing called the “Constitution.” No other country sees freedoms as being inalienable from God. And for the government to accept that premise would mean they have to acquiesce that they are largely irrelevant in many parts of our lives. Again, tyrants, including wannabe tyrants, don't like that. This is why no one should be surprised that Cliff Connolly, DSA Steering Committee member, has admitted how much the DSA loathes the Constitution, so much so that they see it as an “obstacle” to ushering in their communist utopia.

According to a video posted by Natalie Winters, Connolly admits that the organization's “hatred of the United States Constitution” is one of the things it is famous for.

“What the program does is give us a road map to revolution, and it gives us the obstacle” they have to “get over to have a revolution.” He added that “Democracy is the end goal.” However, if that were true, they would not be trying so hard to destroy our founding principles, which have justified more freedoms for any group of people in human history.

According to the DSA:

At the root of our socialism is a profound commitment to democracy, as means and end. As we are unlikely to see an immediate end to capitalism tomorrow, DSA fights for reforms today that will weaken the power of corporations and increase the power of working people.

If Socialists could create corporations and jobs, they would. The problem is that we are dealing with some of the most incompetent members of society. It is truly unclear whether these people are this objectively stupid or sinister in nature. So, draw your own conclusions. That, however, does not make them any less dangerous.
