A woman FaceTimed her elderly father every single day. One day, the calls abruptly stopped. After not hearing from her dad for quite some time, she took the long drive to see what was going on. A random nurse’s voice appeared on the Ring Camera, and she informed the daughter that her father had passed away. What is even more bizarre is that the nurse had moved all her stuff into the house, while claiming the deed was signed over to her for only $5. Draw your own conclusions, but the nurse has finally been charged.
The story that captivated millions has taken another dramatic twist. In June 2024, Nora Rowland had not heard from her ailing father, retired architect Robert Rowland, in weeks. She drove to his South Carolina home to find out that Robert had died three days earlier.

Wow. Wow. Wow. The anger coming from the nurse is rather telling, isn't it? And while I am not here to tell you she is guilty, I am here to tell you that they made at least several Hollywood films with the same plot.

According to Law and Crime:
Sarah Smalls, 58, was arrested and booked Monday on charges of perjury, breach of trust and exploitation of a vulnerable adult.
"I couldn't believe it … I was so happy, I was so excited, I was relieved," said Nora Rowland, daughter of victim Robert Rowland, in an interview with local NBC affiliate WMBF.
Robert Rowland was reportedly suffering from Parkinson's disease and a brain injury before he died. His daughter believes Smalls allegedly transferred money from Robert Rowland's personal account to herself before his death, in addition to getting his home signed over to her for $5. She also believes Smalls neglected her father.
Her father reportedly passed away weighing less than 100 pounds. Nora believes he was neglected on top of the financial abuse. It is unclear what the outcome would have been had a different nurse been hired to care for Robert, but clearly, something strange was going on. Nonetheless, the evidence speaks for itself. But again, draw your own conclusions.
